Welcome to Bluestone Surfaces. We keep our promises simple and our pricing public, and we try to do the same with our legal terms. Please read this page. It governs your use of this website and, together with your written quote and work order, the services we provide.

1. Who we are and what this page covers

This website is operated by Bluestone Surfaces LLC ("Bluestone Surfaces," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed and insured concrete coatings company based in Eagle Mountain, Utah. By using this website, requesting a quote, or booking our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services. If you sign a written quote or work order with us, that document controls if it conflicts with anything on this page.

2. Online estimates are not quotes

The pricing calculators and square footage sliders on this site produce ballpark estimates based on the numbers you enter. They are provided for convenience only and are not offers, quotes, or contracts. Your actual price is determined by an in-person measurement of your floor. Published pricing, including our $7 per square foot rate, reflects our current standard rate for the Forever Floor system and may change for future jobs at any time. The price on your written quote is the price you pay for that job.

3. Quotes, testing, and scope changes

A written quote from Bluestone Surfaces is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued. Your quoted price will not change for the quoted scope of work. If conditions we could not reasonably identify at the quote visit require additional work, we will explain the condition, put the revised scope and price in writing, and proceed only with your approval. One example of a condition testing can reveal: if quantitative moisture testing shows your slab needs a moisture vapor barrier, the barrier goes down at no extra charge, though it may extend the install schedule, and we will confirm the new timeline with you before work begins. You are always free to decline a revised scope and receive a full refund of any deposit.

4. Scheduling, deposits, and payment

A deposit of 50 percent of the quoted price reserves your install date. The deposit is non-refundable, with two exceptions. If we cancel or reschedule for weather, slab conditions, or reasons on our end, your deposit carries to the new date or is refunded in full, your choice. And if testing requires a revised scope under Section 3 and you decline it, your deposit is refunded in full. If you need to move your install date, contact us and we will work with you to reschedule; your deposit carries to the new date. The deposit is forfeited only if you cancel the job.

The remaining balance is due when the work is complete and you have walked the finished floor with us. We accept card, check, and Venmo. If you are unavailable for the final walkthrough, we will document the finished floor with photos and video, provide them to you, and note the missed walkthrough on your final invoice. The balance is due on receipt of the final invoice. Unpaid balances more than 30 days past due may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5 percent per month or the maximum rate allowed by Utah law, and we reserve our rights under Utah's mechanics lien statutes.

5. Your jobsite, our access

To install your floor efficiently, we need a few things from you on install day: access to the space, a working electrical outlet and water source, vehicles and any items you have agreed to move cleared from the work area, pets secured away from the workspace, and interior temperatures within the coating manufacturer's application range, which we will confirm with you when we schedule. If we arrive and cannot safely begin work because access or site conditions were not provided, we may need to reschedule, and the deposit terms in Section 4 apply.

6. Move-out and move-in service

When your job includes our move-out and move-in service, we will carefully move your garage contents out before the install and back in after. You agree to personally handle, before we arrive, the following items, which we will not move: firearms and ammunition, cash, jewelry, documents, prescription medications, hazardous or flammable materials, and anything irreplaceable or of extraordinary personal value. Please point out fragile items before we start. We treat your belongings with care, and our liability for loss or damage to moved items is limited to the repair or replacement value of the item, not to exceed $2,500 per job, except where Utah law provides otherwise. This service covers ordinary garage contents a two-person crew can safely lift and does not include disconnecting appliances, plumbing, or wiring.

7. Included services

Every Forever Floor install includes the services described on our website at the time of your quote, such as the slab moisture test, standard crack and spall repair, the floor care kit, the anti-slip additive on request, and the one-year checkup. These are included services provided as part of your install, not separate warranties or ongoing service contracts. The one-year checkup is one visit, scheduled at mutual convenience within 15 months of your install, covering inspection and minor touch-up of the coated surface.

8. The Forever Floor warranty

Every floor we install is backed by our Forever Floor Limited Lifetime Warranty against peeling and delamination. The complete written warranty is provided with your quote and again at completion, and that written document is the full and only statement of warranty coverage. In summary, and without changing the written document: the warranty covers peeling and delamination of the installed coating system; it lasts for as long as you own your home and Bluestone Surfaces LLC remains in business; it belongs to the original customer only and is non-transferable, meaning it does not pass to a new owner if you sell your home; the remedy is repair of the affected area; and it does not cover damage from causes outside the coating system itself, such as structural slab cracking or movement, chemical spills, or damage caused by misuse. Nothing on this website expands, modifies, or replaces the written warranty document. Nothing in these terms waives any rights you have under the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act or other Utah law.

9. Photos and video of our work

We photograph and record every job before, during, and after the install. We do this to document site conditions, protect your warranty file, and show our work. By booking our services you allow us to use photos and video of your floor and garage interior in our portfolio, website, and marketing. We do not include faces, house numbers, street views, license plates, or anything that identifies you or your address without your separate written permission, and you may ask us not to use imagery from your job for marketing at all by telling us in writing at any time.

10. Text messaging terms

When you submit your phone number through our website forms or chat, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Bluestone Surfaces LLC at that number, including messages sent using automated technology, for quotes, scheduling, service updates, and promotional messages. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages and HELP for help, or call us at 801-901-3927. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy at bluestonesurfaces.com/privacy.

11. Referral program

Our referral program pays $200 to the person who refers a customer to us, subject to these terms. The reward is earned when the referred customer's job is complete and paid in full. The referrer must be identified by name when the referred customer first contacts us, or must contact us before the referred customer does. One referral reward is paid per job; if more than one person claims the same referral, the customer's identification controls. You cannot refer yourself or your own household for your own job. Rewards are paid by cash, check, or Venmo. If we pay you $600 or more in referral rewards in a calendar year, federal law requires us to collect a W-9 and issue you a Form 1099. We may modify or end the referral program at any time, but we will honor any referral already in progress when the change is announced. Referral rewards have no cash value until earned and are void where prohibited.

12. Reviews and results

Reviews and testimonials on this site are from real customers describing their own experience. Every floor and every slab is different, and past results do not guarantee an identical outcome on your project.

13. Using this website

All content on this site, including photos of our work, written copy, the Bluestone Surfaces name and logo, and the Forever Floor name, belongs to Bluestone Surfaces LLC or is used with permission. You may view and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy, or republish site content for commercial use, misrepresent an affiliation with us, use our photos to advertise other services, or interfere with the operation of the site. Links to third-party sites, including our social media pages and review platforms, are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Website disclaimer

This website and its content are provided as is. While we work to keep everything on it accurate and current, we do not guarantee that the site is error-free or uninterrupted. Information on the site is general in nature; your quote and work order govern your specific project. This section applies to the website itself and does not limit or modify the Forever Floor warranty or any right you have under Utah law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Utah law, Bluestone Surfaces LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. For our installation services, our responsibilities and remedies are set out in your written quote, work order, and the Forever Floor Limited Lifetime Warranty. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under Utah law, and nothing in these terms waives any rights you have under the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute arising from these terms, this website, or our services will be resolved in the state courts located in Utah County, Utah, including small claims court where the amount qualifies. In any action to enforce these terms or a related agreement, the prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Changes apply to website use going forward and do not change the terms of any signed quote, work order, or warranty already in effect.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and, for customers, your written quote, work order, and warranty document, are the entire agreement between you and Bluestone Surfaces LLC regarding their subject matter.
